Qualified at Baghdad University and joined the practice in November 1992. Special interest in Paediatrics and teaching Medical Students. He is an Honorary Lecturer of Barts and the London Queen Mary's School of Medicine and Dentistry. Please ask at the surgery for details.
Dr Alem Tsegaye MBBS (Female)
Qualified in 1995 from University College London. She joined the practice in 2001 and has special interests in family planning and gynaecology. Please ask at the surgery for details.
Dr Shore MBBCh, DRCOG, MRCGP (Female)
Joined the practice in June 1993 and was for many years a partner. She now works as sessional GP offering appointments in the Young Persons clinic and Women’s Health. Please ask at the surgery for details.
Dr Patti Idiong, BM. ChB. (Male)
Dr Idiong is a salaried GP and has special interest in Long Term Conditions and is the practice CVD (Cardio Vascular Disease) lead.
Dr Puja Kumar (Female) MBBS, MRCGP, BSc
Dr Kumar is a salaried GP and has special interest in Child Health Surveillance and will be joining Dr Shore in the Young Persons Clinic.
Dr Chet Barot (Male) MBBS, BSc, MRCGP
Dr Barot is our long term locum and has special interest in monitoring patients on long term controlled drugs.
Dr Anne Pauleau (Female) MBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG, CILT
Dr Pauleau is our long term locum and has special interest in Diabetes, family planning & women’s health.
As we are a teaching and training Practice, it is usual for us to have an additional one or two GP Registrars who are fully qualified doctors, doing their speciality training within the practice.
Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Nurse Teik Loi (Sarah)
Nurse Sarah joined us December 2016. She is our daily triage nurse.
Currently under the pilot scheme from Newham CCG. Andrea joined us in 2014 and helps the practice with prescription reconciling and also manages the Hypertension, COPD and Asthma Clinics with the other clinical members.
Patricia Munroe, S.R.N.
Joined the practice in 1986, having spent 19 years working in the district and is well known in the locality.
Mary Kentish S.R.N.
Mary works part time on Wednesdays and Thursdays. She concentrates on the Asthma and Diabetic Clinics, as well as all other aspects of Health Promotion.
Joined the practice in January 2014 having worked previously in Hackney. Originally from Bulgaria, Bozhana speaks Bulgarian and Russian.
Jessie joined the practice in 2006. She works part time usually on Wednesdays.
Mohammed has worked in the NHS for over 12 years with 10 years management experience.
Along with Glynis (see below), I administrate and organise the smooth running of the practice (with things like finance, contracts, services and staff). If you have a concern, complaint, suggestion or even a compliment about the practice, then please get in touch with me. Simply pick up the phone, dial in and ask the receptionist to put you though to me. Alternatively, you can write to me. We are always keen on hearing from you - but we cannot do that if you don't get involved and speak to us.
Patient Liaison Manager
Glynis has been one of our long serving staff members, devoting over 22 years to the practice. She also heads the team of reception staff; Bobbi, Val, Aaron, Kim, Marie, Rebecca, Stacy and Tracy.
An administration team of two Secretaries, Donna and Lesley, provide a full-time secretarial service for the practice.
